Ashen Crown Saga

Ashen Crown Saga is the kind of mobile RPG I wish there were more of. The story about a fallen queen trying to reclaim a poisoned throne carries real weight, and the choices you make actually change which allies show up later. I replayed the second chapter twice just to see a different path.

Combat is turn-based with a stamina system that stops you from spamming your best skills every round. It rewards planning. Bosses forced me to rethink my party more than once, and swapping in the right elemental caster felt genuinely clever rather than lucky.

Leveling is generous without being mindless. You can respec cheaply, so experimenting with builds never feels punishing. If you like RPGs with actual writing behind them, start here.
