Stories, leveling, and games worth your time

We play mobile RPGs and adventures until the credits roll, then tell you what actually holds up. No hype, just honest notes on story, progression, and controls. Lately we spent a whole week with Big Bass Drop and wrote down every impression.

Why us

We finish the game

We don't review after twenty minutes. We play through the story and the late-game grind before writing a word.

No paid placement

Rankings and ratings come from how the game plays, not from who sends us a message.

Real phones, real lag

We test on ordinary mid-range devices, so our notes on performance match what most people actually own.

Editor’s pick

Ashen Crown Saga
RPG

Ashen Crown Saga

★★★★★ 4.7

Ashen Crown Saga is the kind of mobile RPG I wish there were more of. The story about a fallen queen trying to reclaim a poisoned throne carries real weight, and the choices you make actually change which allies show up later. I replayed the second chapter twice just to see a different path.

  • Branching story that respects your choices
  • Stamina-based combat that rewards planning
  • Cheap respec makes build experiments painless

Questions & answers

How do you choose which games to review?

Mostly we play what catches our eye in the store and stick with the ones that hold up past the first evening. We lean toward RPGs and adventures but cover racers, strategy, and arcade games too. If it's fun on a phone, it's a candidate.

Do you get paid to write reviews?

No. We buy our own copies and play on our own time. Nobody pays us to say nice things, and our ratings reflect how the games actually play.

Can I suggest a game for you to cover?

Absolutely, we love recommendations. Send us the name and why you think it's worth our time through the contact email. We can't promise to cover everything, but we read every message.

Is there advertising on the site?

We keep the site clean and independent. If that ever changes we'll say so openly, and it will never affect what score a game gets. A good example of an unbiased write-up is our week-long review of Big Bass Drop, which nobody paid us to publish.
