Adventure
Hollow Lantern
★★★★★ 4.6
Hollow Lantern is a slow, atmospheric adventure and I mean that as a compliment. You wander a foggy town solving environmental puzzles and piecing together what happened to its missing residents. The hand-drawn art and quiet soundtrack pull you right in.
Puzzles lean on observation rather than moon logic. Almost everything I got stuck on had a clue I'd walked past. When I finally noticed it, the answer felt earned instead of arbitrary.
It's not a long game, maybe five or six hours, but it stays with you. Play it with headphones at night and it hits differently.
