Garden of Small Hours

★★★★☆ 4.0 Editor rating

Garden of Small Hours is the game I open when I want to wind down. You plant, water, and shape a little garden that changes across four seasons, and there's no timer breathing down your neck. Progress happens at its own pace.

There's more depth than the calm surface suggests. Certain plants only thrive next to others, and figuring out the right combinations gave me the same quiet satisfaction as a good puzzle. Weather events shake things up just enough to keep me checking in.

It won't be for everyone. If you need constant goals, this might feel too soft. But as a palate cleanser between heavier games, it's lovely.
